It is perhaps maybe not really a scene through the Hollywood hit “Runaway Bride” but a conventional Serbian wedding service — just with a lot of the functions played by Chinese tourists.
Enticed by visa-free travel and costs that are low to Western Europe, the Chinese have now been arriving at Serbia within their droves.
The landlocked Balkan state is currently one of many fastest-growing locations in European countries for Chinese travellers, topping the maps this past year, and it has been rolling away of the carpet that is red.
From Chinese restaurants, to street indications in Mandarin, infrastructure has quickly sprung up.

Zeljko Sredic, whom has the resort of wood getaway domiciles, lays on a complete Serbian wedding experience, without really getting hitched.
“We thought we would do weddings since they include most of the traditions: the tradition of food, track, party, costumes and so forth,” he told AFP.
The wedding extravaganza has been wooing the Chinese in particular since it began two years ago against rolling hills and farmland.

On a present Saturday, two busloads of tourists mostly from Shanghai had been welcomed with people music and drawn into a old-fashioned circular “kolo” party by their Serbian hosts.
“They always want one thing uncommon, different things and this is unquestionably one thing you cannot get in agencies that have typical trips to offer,” Katarina Jovancic, the group’s Serbian guide, stated regarding the sidelines for the dancing. (mehr …)
